makingGodsofIndia is now VedicFutura !

We hope this message finds you well! We are thrilled to share some exciting news! After careful consideration, we have decided to change the name from "MakingGodsofIndia" to "Vedic Futura." We wanted to take a moment to provide you with more information about this transition and the reasons behind it.

  • Inclusive Representation: While "MakingGodsofIndia" served us well for many years, we realized that the name might create a misconception about the content we offer. Our 3D models encompass a wide range of characters, including historical figures, saints, demons, asuras, and other fascinating personas from Hindu mythology. The new name, "Vedic Futura," reflects our commitment to inclusivity and highlights the broader spectrum of characters from Hindu mythology that we explore.

  • Expanding Geographical Focus: Although we initially incorporated "India" into our name, we have always celebrated the rich heritage and artistic traditions from various Asian countries. From India to Thailand to Japan, our collection of 3D sculptures spans a wide range of cultural influences. By transitioning to "Vedic Futura," we hope to better encompass the diverse Asian influences on Hindu sculpture and ensure that our name accurately represents the breadth of our content.

  • Embracing a Broader Purpose: While our passion for tinkering and making remains strong, we recognize that the term "maker" might limit the perception of our creative endeavors. "Making" is undoubtedly an integral part of our journey, but it does not solely define our purpose. With "Vedic Futura," we aspire to convey a more holistic approach to our work, emphasizing the exploration and celebration of ancient and modern Hindu sculpture, and preserve it for the future. This expanded scope allows us to engage in endeavors such as blogging, sculpting, scanning, painting, and more. We believe that by embracing these multifaceted practices, we can better fulfil our mission of bringing Hindu sculpture to the Future.
